For Mark Wallace. 9 September 2026

Everything in play, on one page.

Four pieces of work, each with its live link or design export, and one short list of what I need back from you to finish each of them.

Design for sign-off

Battery Only v2

Modelled on Ben's new homepage and the Good Better Best battery deck you sent on the 4th. Same section order as the homepage, with the capture form in the hero, one battery in focus with Standard, Premium and Ultimate tabs, and the health check from the deck. Every price is a placeholder until you send the battery-only figures.

HERO A Hero A: evening house with the capture form
Evening houseThe house lit at dusk, the moment a battery earns its keep. Dark ground, orange CTA from Ben's homepage.
HERO B Hero B: light product hero with the three batteries
Light productWhite ground, the three batteries up front, postcode bar. Closer to the current battery page, cleaner for a product-led sell.

Battery Only v2 mobile

Mobile

Hero, capture form and the three battery tabs, laid out for a phone. Scroll inside the frame.

Your copy doc arrived Monday. I have it. It changes the shape of the page in one good way: the six-question calculator becomes the conversion step, and we only ask for a phone number after the result. Next step on my side is merging your copy into this design. The table at the bottom lists the values the doc still needs.
Current battery page stays up meanwhile. battery.projectsolaruk.com is the July framework. It gets replaced by v2 once copy and prices are in.

Grand Designs Live

One-page journey for the iPad at the stand: five questions, submit, then the sun map and savings estimate as the result. A rep version adds a specialist-name field so reps log their own leads. Leads are local-only until the CRM wiring is confirmed.

Consumer page

The public journey. This is the one whose results section you want to tweak. Send me what you have and I will apply it here.

Grand Designs Live rep page

Rep page

Same journey plus a required Solar Specialist Name field. The iPad remembers the name, so a rep types it once per shift.

Concept 1

Style reference: Concept 1

Sunlit editorial. Kitty liked both styles and wanted them reused elsewhere. The one-page above uses this system.

Evergreen app-window look. Kept as a reference for future pages.

Matt Ralston's rep-mode proposal (4 Sept). Matt and Matthew J suggested the booking form handle rep identity itself: rep signs in once with email plus a one-time code, the page stores a token, and the booking form highlights the slots that rep can cover. If you go with that, the Solar Specialist Name field comes off the rep page and the CRM gets the rep from the token instead. I am fine either way. It needs a yes from you before anyone builds it.
Live for review

Direct calendar booking

Property, bill, address, contact, then book straight into the calendar with the PSUK widget. Remote or in-person branch, three qualification ticks, thank-you card for anyone who does not book. The widget is wired and returning real availability on the review link.

Direct calendar booking page

Book-now journey

Review build. Runs on a test source until Matt sends the real one, so bookings made here do not reach the CRM.

Agreed with Kitty on 1 Sept, not built yet. Split it into three steps: the lead form first (Energy Check style), a thank-you page that asks "book now?", then the booking page with remote or in-person and the calendar. Existing leads can deep-link straight to the booking page. I start this once the source value lands.
Subdomain. booknow.projectsolaruk.com was Kitty's suggestion. Confirm it and Matt can point DNS.
Done and live

  • Reviews fix
The thank-you page on the homepage lead form now reads "Rated Excellent based on 7,000+ reviews" in place of the 5-star line. One shared component, so it is fixed in all three bundles. homeenergy.projectsolaruk.com
  • Small print
Confirmed and deployed on the Solar From Direct page on 31 Aug.
  • Current battery page
battery.projectsolaruk.com, the July build with the BATTERY_ONLY source already set. Replaced by v2 above when copy and prices are in.
